Spinal Orthotics are widely used for treatment of musculoskeletal disorders of spine or vertebrae. The spinal orthosis are categorised into sacral orthosis(SO), lumbosacral orthosis(LSO), thoraco-lumbosacral orthosis(TLSO), cervical orthosis, cervico-thoracic orthosis (CTO) depending on region of spine they are used on for treatment. The spinal orthosis are used for disorders such as vertebrae fractures, Spine ligament injuries, disc injuries, back pain etc.

Spinal orthosis are also used for correction of abnormal spinal curves such as scoliosis, kyphosis and lordosis due to paralysis or muscle weakness.
